Religion 

                    GOALS: 

The students of Ascension School will: 

·                    Express awareness of God’s love seen in creation

·                    Express awareness of God’s love as seen by His presence among us

·                    Appreciate his/her uniqueness and the uniqueness of others

·                    Express awareness that God’s love gives us Jesus, family

·                    Demonstrate Christian love through signs of kindness and awareness of needs around the world

·                    Celebrate the seasons of the Liturgical year and the feasts of Mary, Jesus, and the saints

·                    Pray the sign of the cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Angel of God and Prayer before Meals

·                    Learn the importance of family and home and how families change

·                    Demonstrate ways to respect life of all living things

·                    Acknowledge differences and likenesses of boys and girls

·                    Learn how to be a good friend
