                    GOALS: 

  The students of Ascension School will: 

·              Identify names with sounds of basic classroom and orchestral instruments

·              Distinguish between short and long sounds, beats and accents

·              Move to music played in different tempos

·              Recognize note values using icons instead of notes

·              Exhibits understanding of phrase as a complete musical idea by singing with appropriate phrasing
