·                    Identify state capitals and symbols

·                    Define an ocean

·                    Locate the United States and its neighbors

·                    Locate the seven continents

·                    Describe the major landforms

·                    Identify natural resources

·                    Define history as the story of our past

·                    Identify significant historical figures

·                    Identify the American flag

·                    Recite the Pledge of Allegiance
