Third Grade Curriculum

Math 

                    GOALS: 

The students of Ascension School will:                  

·                    Read, write and compare numbers through six digits

·                    Add and subtract four-digit numbers with regrouping

·                    Demonstrate recall of multiplication facts 0-9

·                    Demonstrate recall of division facts 0-9

·                    Multiply two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers

·                    Identify time to the nearest minute

·                    Count and use money through five dollars

·                    Measure in grams, gallons, feet, yards, miles and pounds

·                    Recognize geometric concepts of perimeter, area, line segment, angle, symmetry and three-dimensional figures

·                    Learn about fractions

·                    Identify operations needed to solve word problems
