The students of Ascension School will:                  

·                    Recall addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts

·                    Read and write numbers through billions

·                    Read and write Roman Numerals

·                    Estimate sums and differences

·                    Read and write decimals through thousandths

·                    Compare and order decimals

·                    Multiply by 1,2 and 3 digit numbers

·                    Find average of a list of numbers

·                    Find perimeter, volume, area of a figure or container

·                    Estimate and measure weights using grams and temperature using Celsius

·                    Compare and order fractions

·                    Add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers

·                    Find quotients of fractions

·                    Identify and measure angles

·                    Estimate decimal; products and quotients

·                    Multiply and divide decimals

·                    Read, interpret and make graphs

·                    Write ratios solve equations write comparisons as ratios, percent, decimals or fractions

·                    Find a percent of a number

·                    Use manipulatives such as geoboards, tangrams, pattern blocks and attribute blocks

·                    Solve word problems

·                    Use a calculator

·                    Apply mental Math
