The students of Ascension School will: 

·                    Identify and use color value in painting

·                    Use color in a more discriminating manner

·                    Understand the difference between crafts such as weaving, basketry, pottery and other art forms

·                    Name the elements of design

·                    Show pride and confidence in their own creative efforts

·                    Construct a project showing various textures

·                    Draw the human figure

·                    Identify different artists and styles

·                    Complete a research project incorporating art history
