·                    Explain the wars in Europe

·                    Discuss events of World War II and American intervention

·                    Define the concept of “Iron Curtain”

·                    Trace the Civil Rights movement

·                    Tell how Watergate led to Nixon’s resignation

·                    Review the events of the Persian War

·                    Name and discuss problems of the 20^th century
