                    GOALS: 

The students of Ascension School will: 

·                    Identify, understand and write whole numbers 0-31

·                    Recite numbers in sequence 0-100

·                    Recite numbers by 5’s, 5-100

·                    Recite numbers by 10’s, 10-100

·                    Find sums by adding 1 or 2

·                    Find differences by subtracting 1 or 2

·                    Identify two and three dimensional shapes

·                    Recognize coins and their values (penny, nickel, dime)

·                    Show meaning of position terms – big/little, in/out, over/under, up/down

·                    Identify ordinals first through tenth

·                    Construct mental picture of object to the numerals

·                    Tell time to the whole hour

·                    Process: joining/separating, comparing, ordering, sorting, (length, weight, capacity, classifying)
